The Kendall Hotel
350 Main Street
Cambridge, MA 02142 USA

Cambridge is a city that is located in the Greater Boston region and is the proud home of such universities as MIT and Harvard. It is also a city with roots that are embedded deep within the country's history going all the way back to the settlement of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. History would play an important part in the development of Cambridge as well as the Kendall Hotel, the city's only historic hotel.
Constructed in the year 1894, the Kendall Hotel was originally the Engine 7 firehouse, a single building property that served the ever-growing area of Kendall Square. Today it is no longer a firehouse but one of the Boston area's most prominent boutique hotels. Its architectural design is equivalent to Victorian style of the 1890's. More than 60 guestrooms are offered and dressed with classic American décor. Supreme amenities are provided and the beds can be described as pure comfort. Guests will appreciate the breakfast buffet that comes with a menu made up of treats such as homemade granola, bagels, muffins, and other favorites like eggs and bacon.
Also presented at the property is The Black Sheep restaurant which was named after the crew of the Engine 7 firehouse who were considered the black sheep of the fire department. This fine dining establishment offers a delicious menu made up of organic and locally grown ingredients and its welcoming setting is second to none. Locally brewed beers and fine wine are offered at the full bar.
The Kendall Hotel boasts a fabulous location that is near various landmarks, attractions, and fine dining establishments. Places within a few miles of the property include the Museum of Science, the New England Aquarium, Boston Harbor, Beacon Hill, and the Theatre District.
